Kayan Boukhliq
Contemporary circus artist, rapper and singer-songwriter.
He discovered acrobatics and parkour in 2014, on the beaches and in the streets of Morocco.
From 2015 to 2018 he trained at the Shems’y circus school, as a hand-to-hand flyer.
He then joined Compagnie du Jour for the creation of L’Armoire, directed by Karim Troussi, performed in Morocco, Canada, France and Côte d’Ivoire.
From 2021 to 2024 he trained at the Centre national des arts du cirque, in France, where he developed his practice of hand balancing.
He is currently a performer in Pain d’chien by the company Cirque sans noms, and takes part in Nikolaus Holz’s next creation with the company Pré-O-Coupé, due in 2027.
